Steve Brodsky has been a singer,
songwriter, performer, Cantorial Soloist, and music educator in the Denver/Boulder Jewish
community for... well, let's just say it's been a long time. For the last
twelve years, Steve
has performed a series of Chanukah concerts around the Denver/Boulder area with his band, Steve Brodsky and Friends. (Click

Steve's original songs are widely used in synagogues, camps,
and youth groups across North America, and have appeared on
numerous compilations of the newest and coolest Jewish music,
including the Ruach 5761 and Ruach
5763 compilations of published by Transcontinental Music Publications
and Celebrate Kids and The Best of the Celebrate Series,
published by Craig n' Co.
Steve is a member of
the band Sababa (www.sababamusic.com) along with Robbi
Sherwin and Scott Leader, and was a founding
member of the seminal Jewish band Mah Tovu
(www.mahtovu.com).
Though he ended his formal affiliation with Mah Tovu in 2007, Steve still
performs with former partners Josh Zweiback and Ken Chasen

Steve lives in Denver, Colorado with
his wife Jill and sons Benjamin and Ari. Steve produces and leads "Shabbat
Unplugged," a joyous musical Shabbat worship experience on the fourth Friday of every
month at Temple Emanuel in Denver, now in its eighth
year.
Steve
also has a "real" job as the Administrative Director of Sounds Write Productions, the
largest wholesale and retail distributor of Jewish music in North America.
Sounds Write is a division of URJ Books and Music, the publishing arm of the
Union for Reform Judaism.
